If getting a good night’s sleep is top of your holiday wishlist, you’ll be pleased to hear the travel industry is taking heed
Many hotels and resorts are launching new short break packages which focus getting a good night’s kip.
They have even coined a new term: “Sleep Tourism” – a travel experience designed with sleep at its heart.
And, with nearly one in five Brits not getting enough sleep, Sleep Tourism is one of the travel trends expected to grow in the coming years.
“Over the past years we have seen the growth of wellness offerings for travellers,” says seasoned traveller James Smith of Travel Lingual.
“It’s only natural this should extend to sleep too.”
New sleep experiences to hit the market range from retreats to reset your circadian rhythm, to luxury hotel suites designed with sleep in mind.
